Carly and I both teach the fourth grade and one day, after chatting about how our multiplication lessons were going, we got to talking about her wedding coming up this summer. I showed her my website and she was completely surprised, she had no idea I was into photography; “You’re like a real photographer!” she said. She asked me to do her engagement shoot and I told her I’d be thrilled!
Carly and Bobby wanted a city type feel for their pictures so I suggested downtown Leesburg. Although she had never been it turned out to be exactly what she had in mind. The weather was in our favor and both Carly and Bobby were completely relaxed in front of the camera. I could tell you more, but I think the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy!
Paula and Aaron are married!

Paula and Aaron were married WAY back in June but I never got around to posting this beautiful wedding. Since it’s snowing like crazy this weekend I figured it might be nice to jump back and look at some sunny warm summer days. Enjoy, and think warm thoughts!
Peggy’s Portrait Session

Peggy is a long time friend of the family; she has a way of throwing her head back when she laughs that always gets everyone in the room to smile. When she asked me to take some portraits for her I knew it was going to be a breeze. She was looking for some eye catching photos to help hook her a beau on match.com but didn’t want any “fake looking Glamour Shots”. She’s a librarian at a local middle school so I suggested a couple shots with a pile of books and her only request was a picture in a black dress, so with that inspiration in mind off we went! Thanks for making my job so easy Peggy, with a smile like that I know love is right around the corner!
