My baby sister and I headed out to City Center a few weekends ago and while we were there another photographer came up and asked us if we were with model mayhem; saying “Well, it seems pretty obvious she’s the model and you’re the photographer”. It gave us both a grin. The weather was really nice and it was fabulous to get out with my camera and take a couple laid back shots. Thanks Mo!

 

 

 



Abby – 6 days old

Say hi to Abby the newest addition to the Valluzzo family! This makes the happy grandparents 4 and 0, grandaughters to grandsons. Abby was only 6 days old and full of joy when I stopped by, and when she wasn’t sleeping she was smiling from ear to ear which made for a wonderful shoot. Thanks Abby!



Jack Attack

I had the most wonderful day with Jack. Sometimes it takes a two year old to remind you postpone what you have to do right now in order to enjoy the small things like red wagons.
I can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon than with a happy two year old.

Brittany and Dan are Married!

Brittany has always loved the Outer Banks for its beautiful beaches and has had her heart set on having her wedding there for some time; so when Dan proposed, the couple already had their location picked out.
Dan and Brittany wanted to keep things easy and have everyone in one place, in order to spend as much time with their out of town guests as possible, but they didn’t want to be far from the beach. Their solution was intimate AND accommodating! They chose a beautiful yellow beach house to be the center of the wedding festivities. The house became the pre-wedding prep area, the brunch gathering spot and the reception/dance hall.
The house was big enough to accommodate the entire wedding party, plus some of their family! The plan came together perfectly, the beautiful yellow beach house fit in with the black and yellow theme and was within walking distance of the beach. Because so many people were staying in the house, the dancing at the reception continued even after the couple had left for their honeymoon. What a dream come true!

Brittany and Dan Klein

I’m so far behind on my blogging that this lovely couple has been married for two weeks and I’m just now getting their pre-wedding pictures up! 

Brittany and Dan chose the lovely Corolla, NC for their engagement shots as well as their wedding. Brittany is my older cousin so we had no problem getting comfortable with each other, we got straight to work. Although the east coast can’t provide sunsets over the ocean (rise in the east set in the west), the sun lit up the clouds a little bit over the water and everything came out beautifully.

They were so at ease in front of the camera, it was wonderful to work with them. I can’t wait to show you the pictures from the ceremony. Stay tuned!
