Old Red Dodge

It had been much too long since I had gone out and taken pictures just to take pictures. Initially I had images of fields illuminated by the sun and rolling green landscape pictures but when Bridget said her aunt had an awesome old truck my inspiration completely shifted. I was not in the least bit disappointed! This old Dodge had so much character, and with a little prodding Bridget agreed to do a bit of modeling.
I was completely thrilled with the results and best of all I had a blast taking the pictures.

Mo and Jess- a photo shoot to make the miles seem less far

My little sister is blessed to have found herself an absolutely wonderful boyfriend who truly cares for her and would probably do anything to make her smile (lets just say he has the big sisters approval). This summer he was offered a job far far away in California for the summer doing something he really enjoys, and because Mo would do pretty much anything to make him smile she was excited for him too, even though it meant they would be rocking the long distance relationship for a while. So when I found out about all of this, the older sister in me couldn’t resist suggesting a photo shoot so that both of these adorable love birds could have a picture to look at while they were apart. When I called Mo and Jess up to suggest the whole thing they were thrilled- so off we went, 48 hours before Jess was supposed to leave. The two of them were happy and adorable, the whole thing went off amazingly and I’ve got the pictures to prove it.

Personal Favorite from the day, I just love all those twisty roots.

Well, this post has been a log time coming hasn’t it? I know the anticipation has been killing you, but look on the bright side, now you don’t have to wait to see the wedding pictures because the wedding has already happened! The engagement shoot captured Paula and Aaron as they truly are, fun loving and full of laughter. They started out by saying they weren’t sure they were very photogenic, turns out they were wrong! The two of them took to the camera like total naturals
Exhibit A) American Gothic. This picture sort of just happened. It was one of the first pictures that we took and as soon as it happened I knew this was going to be an awsome photo shoot.
The next post wont take so long, have faith wedding pictures are to follow.
